When words unveil what the universe has been hiding...
When words help decoding expectations...
When words simplify phenomenons...
They leave the rest to imagination.

It is a mystery how it happens.
It is a mystery when it comes.
It is a mystery why some love grows.
It is a mystery why some love fails.
You need to know this about love, and accept it.
You need to treat what it brings you with kindness.
If you find yourself in love with someone who does not love you, be gentle with yourself.
There is nothing wrong with you. Love just didn't choose to rest in the other person's heart.
If you find someone else in love with you and you don't love him, feel honored that love came and called at you, but gently refuse the gift you cannot return. Do not take advantage, do not cause pain. How you deal with love is how you deal with you, and all our hearts feel the same pains and joys, even if our lives and ways are different. If you fall in love with another, and he falls in love with you, and then love chooses to leave, do not try to reclaim it or to assess blame. Let it go. There is a reason and there is a meaning. You will know in time.
Remember that you don't choose love, love chooses you. All you can really do is accept it for all its mystery when it comes into your life. Feel the ways it fills you to overflowing, then reach out and give it away. Give it back to the person who brought it alive in you. Give it to others who deem it poor in spirit. Give it to the world around you in anyway you can.
This is where many lovers go wrong. Having been so love without love, they understand love only as a need. They see their hearts as empty places that will be filled by love, and they begin to look at love as something that flows to them rather than from them.
The first blush of love is filled to overflowing but as their love cools they revert to seeing their love as a need. They cease to be someone who generates love and instead become someone who seeks love. They forget that the secret of love is that it is a gift, and that it can be made to grow only by giving it away.
Remember this, and keep it to your heart. Love has its own seasons and its own reason for coming and going. You cannot bribe it or coerce it, or reason it into staying. You can only embrace it when it arrives and give it away when it comes to you. But if it chooses to leave from your heart or from the heart of your lover, there is nothing you can do and there is nothing you should do. Love has been and always will be a mystery. Be glad that it came to live for a moment in your life.

Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being in love which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two.
- Captain Corelli's Mandolin -
The most wonderful of all things in life is the discovery of another human being with whom one's relationship has a growing depth, beauty and joy as the years increase. This inner progressiveness of love between two human beings is a most marvellous thing; it cannot be found by looking for it or by passionately wishing for it. It is a sort of divine accident, and the most wonderful of all things in life.
- Sir Hugh Walpole (1884-1941) -
Love means to commit oneself without guarantee, to give oneself completely in the hope that our love will produce love in the loved person. Love is an act of faith, and whoever is of little faith is also of little love.
- Erich Fromm quotes (1900-1980) -
You come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly.
- Sam Keen -
Love is the emblem of eternity: it confounds all notion of time: effaces all memory of a beginning, all fear of an end.
- Madame de Stael -
Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable.
- Bruce Lee -
Love is as much of an object as an obsession, everybody wants it, everybody seeks it, but few ever achieve it, those who do will cherish it, be lost in it, and among all, never... never forget it.
- Curtis Judalet -
Love feels no burden, thinks nothing of trouble, attempts what is above its strength, pleads no excuse of impossibility; for it thinks all things lawful for itself, and all things possible.
- Thomas Kempis -
Love feels no burden, regards no labors, strives toward more than it attains, argues not of impossibility, since it believes that it may and can do all things. Therefore it avails for all things, and fulfils and accomplishes much where one not a lover falls and lies helpless.
- Thomas a Kempis (1380-1471) -
Love doesn't just sit there like a stone; it has to be made, like bread, remade all the time, made new.
- Ursula K. LeGuin -
Love is a hidden fire, A pleasant sore, A delicious poison, A delectable pain, An agreeable torment, A sweet and throbbing wound, A gentle death.
- Fernando de Pujas -
Life has taught us that love does not consist in gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction.
- Antoine de Saint-Exupery (1900-1944) -
Love is a symbol of eternity. It wipes out all sense of time, destroying all memory of a beginning and all fear of an end.
- Madame de Stael -
Love is a sweet tyranny, because the lover endureth his torment willingly.
- Proverb -
Love never reasons, but profusely gives; gives, like a thoughtless prodigal, its all, and trembles then lest it has done too little.
- Hannah More -
Love withers under constraints: its very essence is liberty: it is compatible neither with obedience, jealousy, nor fear: it is there most pure, perfect, and unlimited where its votaries live in confidence, equality and unreserve.
- Percy Bysshe Shelley, Queen Mab, 1813 -
True love is like a ghost; everyone talks of it, but few have met it face to face.
- La Rochefoucald -

There is enough room to take time
To rethink everything
To really interpret each feeling
To find the true path
To understand the real you
To find the real us
Although somehow...
While the universe becomes a bit colder...
And somewhat quieter...
I find myself hoping,
Wishing the time moving a lot more quickly
